Well hello there beautiful!!! I figured the best way to begin my blog is with a killer outdoor boudoir session here in Sonoma County. Maggie, the gorgeous model was able to grab this vintage bed from her mother and hauled it to an open field here in gorgeous Sonoma County and the rest was history.
Theres two things I love (well theres a ton of things I love including my two boys but lets just pretend here) and these two things are sunsets and the curves of a woman. Sunset time, or in photographers term, golden hour is the two hours prior to the sun setting and it creates this magical, warm light that wraps around the body and face so evenly and creates the most beautiful appealing portrait. If you have ever seen me shoot at sunset time, especially at a wedding, you will hear me scream “Oooooh yaaaaa” or “I die” or “this light is like butter” or most recently I caught myself saying “thank you sun gods.” I guess you could say its what makes me happiest, it brings me joy, it makes me smile from ear to ear.
It only makes sense for me to combine this true love for sunsets with my talent to capture a woman curves in the most appealing way. Once the nerves go away that she’s nearly naked in an open field, theres something so romantic and sexy about an outdoor boudoir session that she quickly begins to feel. And when she feels it, I get to capture it. And Im the luckiest photographer around.
