Photographing any Bay Area boudoir session makes me excited but when its my own bride my heart does a happy dance. When I meet my brides either during a consultation before they book with me or during their engagement session, I secretly want to whisper to them “you must do a bridal boudoir session for your fiance” But I usually don’t because lets be real not the best first impression when they just meet me plus I want it to be a surprise for their groom.
Like the majority of my boudoir clients, Mrs. G was hesitant to go through with her bridal boudoir session and she actually waited until the very last minute to get her session done. Cant blame her, wedding planning is chaotic (understatement). We did it so last minute that I actually got the album a week before her wedding date and actually wrapped it and had it ready for her ON her wedding day. Although she is strikingly, obviously gorgeous and in crazy good shape I don’t think shes one to refer to herself as this sexy woman. I’m glad that once she saw these images there is no way she could deny that sexiness in her. I at one point turned to her and said “You have the nicest breasts I have ever seen.” Complete diarrhea of the mouth and we both bursted out laughing.
Mrs. F and her now husband are both very into their trucks so we knew we had to incorporate hers into the shoot. She climbed her sweet little buns on top of her truck and did some awesome posing inside. I made sure we planned her session so wed hit that gorgeous sunset hour and not surprisingly, those images turned out to be my very favorite! Nothing like a beautiful woman during golden hour. The way the light wraps around her body, creates so much romance and illusion.
Congrats Mrs. G on your wedding day and to your now husband, you are one lucky man!
