Sonoma County Boudoir Photographer

First time shooting in my new studio space in Sonoma County and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I wanted a space I could easier do light and airy images as well as dark n moody images- giving that variety in a clients gallery and the new space does exactly this!

Even if a client is dead set on light n airy images, I will throw in some dark n moody images as we often don’t realize what we like until we see it for ourselves. I started out as a strictly evenly lit, bright n airy photographer but with some years under my belt I realized I love the emphasis and sexiness of that darker image. To get the assets to really pop I think that dark look highlighting the assets is essential to every session.

Besides the gorgeous light in all of Sonya’s images lets talk about her outfits as  I think she had a perfect balance of outfits for her shoot and many women could take note of this regardless of their shape.

1. Blush pink bodysuit from Forever 21. If you are a client of mine you know Im a big fan of body suits. They give such great shape to any body and allow one to feel really comfortable as much skin is covered but still eludes that sexiness.

2. Sporty red wear from Forever 21. The Calvin Klein outfit is very trendy right now so I wanted to do something simliar but yet different. See the high waisted undies? YES!

3. My personal fav, fish nets and cop top/bra. You can either go comando under the fishnets or wear black thong. She paired it with a strappy bra to supplement the lines of the fishnets. Bra and underwear from Forever 21 and fishnets from Target!
